The ceramic preserves moisture, creating incredible luster and shine. Ionic technology dries hair faster by breaking up water molecules. The dryer features an LED that turns blue when ionic conditioning is at full strength, giving you silky smooth results. The dryer features 3 heat and 2 air settings for styling control. The unit also had a cool shot button to lock in styles. Designed and engineered in the United States, Andis also offers a complete line of quality clippers and trimmers for consumers and animal grooming as well as a full line of wall mounted hair dryers for the hotel industry. Andis warrants its products to the original purchaser against defective material or workmanship for five years from the date of purchase. All implied warranties are also limited to five years. I have very thick, course, Afro-American hair, and I've always hated blow drying my hair. It always turned out very dry and brittle--until I used this dryer (or went to the salon).
