I am using it in a spare bedroom, not a kitchen. I have it full of photo albums and the adjustable shelves are great. The only thing I didn't like was that the shelves have a divider right down the center of the cabinet. It looks good and was very easy to put together. It was also much more inexpensive than purchasing a previously assembled unit of this size, and then paying for delivery (I don't have a truck and you would need one to deliver a cabinet this large). The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that the center divider and top shelf is necessary to hold the unit together. I really just wanted storage space, and did not plan on installing the shelving. I can still fit my vacuum and electric broom, but I had to carve out notches in the upper shelf so the handles would fit. I will buy two prettier knobs for it but I am VERY pleased with this purchase. It is a lot roomer than I expect which is always a plus!!Update: I just ordered a second one since I needed even more storage. "Wayfair" has FREE shipping and the service is wonderful!! |
